ABOUT CHI*ATLANTA
CHI*Atlanta is the Atlanta Metro Area chapter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI), known as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in the professional world.

CHI*Atlanta provides a forum for people who share a common interest in how humans interact with computer technology. Members (100+ and growing) include professionals and students from a wide range of disciplines and experience levels.

ABOUT SIG-CHI
ACM SIGCHI embraces work on the communication between human and machine, characterization of the use and contexts of use for interactive systems, methodology of design, and new designs themselves.

Preeminent in its field, only ACM SIGCHI provides you with a wide-ranging forum for the exchange of ideas with others interested in human computer interaction (HCI) from disciplines including: computer science, psychology, cognitive science, human factors, industrial design, graphic design, anthropology, sociology, management science, software engineering, and more!

ACM SIGCHI serves as an international venue for specialists in human-computer interaction, education, usability, interaction design, computer supported cooperative work, and other related areas. The group helps to organize and coordinate information through online services, traditional publications, local SIGS, conferences, workshops, and symposia relating to HCI.
