Bill Curtis (IBM, Chair of CHI Atlanta) talked about perspectives shared
at this yearıs CHI conference on the topic of user profiling.
Lee Farabaugh (Delta Technologies) discussed both a wayfinding system developed for the MAYA offices, and an HTML based cognitive modeling system from Carnegie Mellon University.
Elaine Huang discussed research on visualizations of online communities from MIT and IBM Lotus Cambridge and visualizations of computer-mediated communication information from UC Berkeley and Intel Research Berkeley. In addition, she talked about some of the research presented about interacting with multiple monitor setups from PARC and Microsoft Research. |
