The User Experience group at IBM Internet Security Systems will provide an overview of how the company designs and develops its products. The rapidly growing UX team comprises employees with skills in information architecture, usability engineering, graphic design, user assistance, front-end development, and rapid prototyping. During this CHIA meeting, the UX team will discuss its history, organizational environment, methods, and several recent user-centered contextual design projects. Presenters will include Dick Henneman, Mike Hughes, Brian Anderson, Brandon Tidwell, and Fred Ritch.

Internet Security Systems, an Atlanta-based company founded in 1994 by Christopher W. Klaus, was acquired by IBM Corporation in October 2006. As an integrated business unit of IBM, IBM ISS is the industry leader in preemptive enterprise security.
