Position Summary: Client is looking for a Director of User Experience to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring a creative, self-motivated programmer to lead our User Experience team. This person will be an integral part of the Creative Department and will answer directly to the Chief Creative Officer.

We offer services that include: strategy development; the creation of brand identities; and the development (and execution) of advertising that is substantiated and refined by in-depth analytics. We invest in developing tools and technologies that meet each of our clients’ unique marketing needs. We offer both traditional and online advertising services, building brands through broadcast, print, trade shows, outdoor, and interactive media.
Essential Functions:
1. Manage User Experience team responsibilities.
2. Build/Code static and dynamic pages
3. Optimization of graphics for web and interactive projects
4. Development of ActionScript
5. Create code for front-end behaviors with Dynamic HTML
6. Cross-browser web and email conflict debugging
7. Develop and maintain coding standards to achieve efficiency in maintenance and portability
8. Optimize pages for both human readers and search engines
9. Communicate with other team leads
10. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
Skills Required:
1. Excellent understanding of XHTML, CSS & JavaScript (ActionScript/Flex/Silverlight a big plus)
2. At least working knowledge of Adobe Design Programs
3. Basic to advanced understanding of design and typographic theory
4. Knowledge of current CMS technology and implementation
5. Experience with MooTools, jQuery, Prototype, or similar frameworks
6. Knowledge of user-experience best practices in UI development
7. Excellent understanding of how HTML relates to SEO
8. Proficiency with assuring cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
9. Understanding of SVN and version control software
10. Experience working with/around dynamic code (PHP, .NET) a plus
11. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects
12. Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
13. Comfortable with both Apple and Windows OS environments
Experience Required:
A minimum of 7 years experience with User Experience (Front-End) Production in a professional setting.
A list of past produced URL’s required along with references.
